This display screen equipment awareness online training course is aimed at users of display screen equipment (DSE) and those responsible for assessing DSE. As well as computer screens, examples of DSE also include laptops, tablets, smartphones, CNC control pads and much more. The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations contain special directives covering DSE safety. Both employers and employee-users have responsibilities under the legislation.

  • Understand the legislation surrounding Display Screens and where to retrieve additional guidance.
  • Identify the impact that DSE can have on the body.
  • Understand the risks associated with DES use and be aware of some of the methods used to control these.
